All press photos can be used without notification by newspapers and magazines as well as their website.  For all other application Metzner must be notified and credited.         06 June 2011 | Metzner expands into additional business sector   Metzner Maschinenbau GmbH has taken over the activities of Manz Tübingen GmbH in the busi-ness sector “Automation Solutions for Carbide Tools” and thus assumes a position as a leading producer of complex process automation systems for the manufacture of tungsten carbide tools.   Metzner Maschinenbau GmbH, a leading manufacturer of cutting and converting ma-chinery for cable, rubber and plastics processing, has taken over the global activities of Manz Tübingen GmbH in the production of automation solutions for the manufacture indexable tooling inserts in tungsten carbide and ceramic powder. The takeover was effective on 1st June 2011. With the entry into this new business sector, Metzner is consciously aiming at an expansion of its existing activities. Metzner CEO, Gerhard Rauch said: “After the past few years, it was important for us to place Metzner on a broader and economically more secure base. October 2007 | MAX MÜLLER takeover completed, more new products and expansion After buying MAX MÜLLER, the well-known manufacturer of cutting machines for the rubber and plastics industry, Metzner has now successfully completed the takeover process, so extending its product range and continuing its expansion as a company. Neu-Ulm, 29 October 2007. The Metzner Maschinenbau GmbH has extended its "rubber and plastics" business sector following the purchase of MAX MÜLLER (Hanover) in September 2007. In addition, Metzner has increased its market presence through the acquisition of numerous MAX MÜLLER sales partners in Europe, Asia and Oceania. On the 1st of September 2007, the Metzner Maschinenbau GmbH will be taking over the internationally renowned machine engineering manu-facturer MAX MÜLLER, thus expanding its range of products in the rubber and plastics cutting sector.
