Cutting and Stripping

Metzner cable processing machines for cutting, stripping and pull-off of multi-layer cables, coaxial cables and shielded cables with multi-conductors are powerful, efficient and precise. The various series perform precise cutting and stripping of a broad spectrum of standard cables and special cables.

Besides processing with V-knives and double-blade cutting heads, we can also offer you vital processing with a rotary cut for various series, which offers crucial advantages in processing coax and other demanding cables. You can choose between the compact AM 2000, the versatile AM 3000 or the AM 5000, which has outstanding performance, even for the largest cable cross sections. In addition, there is also the proven AM 4000 series with its especially high piece number capacity, as well as special devices for the electrical cabinet building industry. All machines are capable to control a variety of peripheral devices, as well as the Metzner cable processing software "cable list".

Metzner AM 2000

For cables up to 6 mm in outer cable diameter and cable cross sections from 0.14 mm² up to 6 mm² (AWG 25 – AWG 10). More information >

For cables up to 15 mm (0.6”) outer cable diameter and cable cross sections from 0.5 mm² (AWG 20) up to 35mm² (AWG 2), 50 mm² (AWG 1/0) or 70 mm² (AWG 2/0); all models with double blade cutting system as standard and in addition rotary cutting for specific models. More information >
