Metzner Cross Conveyor

For depositing sensitive profiles and tubes

Sensitive profiles and tubes (e.g. with flocking or textile lamination) must be transported and deposited with great care. Metzner cross conveyors units are an ideal solution for this.

After processing, the profiles and tubes are transported out of the machine on a conveyor belt and transferred to the cross conveyor. With one or more grippers, the materials are lifted onto a cross conveyor belt and transported for visual inspection and removal.

Metzner Economy cross conveyor: Here, the profiles and tubes are transported out of the machine. A pusher then transports the material onto the transverse discharge conveyor belt.

Metzner Professional cross conveyor: In addition to the special triple sorting, this solution also offers the optional integration of an end-sensing unit. The profiles are transported out of the machine via a conveyor belt and transferred to the cross conveyor, good parts are automatically conveyed to the front. Parts requiring inspection are placed in a sorting compartment behind the transfer unit, and clearly bad parts are automatically removed and do not fall onto the cross conveyor.

Metzner High-speed cross conveyor: This cross conveyor is characterised by its particularly gentle transport. After processing, all profiles are conveyed out of the machinery by an integrated conveyor belt. Afterwards, small lifters located under the conveyor belt ensure a careful cross transfer. The advantage: almost no contact with the material. There is no cross transfer of faulty parts, and the faulty parts are transported out of the cross conveyor without interrupting production.
