The Metzner CCM 4 is the versatile flagship model of our circular saw blade series. It was developed specifically for users who refuse to compromise on surface finish and dimensional accuracy. The standout feature of the CCM 4 is its hybrid capability: It excels at both precise dry cutting and highly efficient wet cutting. This makes it the top choice for machining steel-reinforced profiles and hoses in the automotive and industrial supply sectors.
Hybrid Technology: Customized Wet or Dry Cutting
The CCM 4 can be optimally configured to meet specific material requirements. For wet cutting, the machine is equipped with a high-performance closed-loop water-cooled lubrication system. This not only ensures perfect cooling of the blade but also filters out chips and solids directly. Alternatively, a micro-blade lubrication system with integrated extraction preparation is available for dry cutting. This combination guarantees a first-class, burr-free cut edge even with the most challenging material combinations of rubber, plastic, and metal.
Seal Specialist: The CCM 4 Gasket
With the “CCM 4 Gasket” model, we offer a specialized solution for the production of flat gaskets. Without the need for complex support mandrels, the machine cuts tubing with a diameter of up to 40 mm directly into precise gasket rings. Tubing lengths ranging from 1 mm to 1,000 m can be processed reliably. This enormous range makes the CCM 4 Gasket an indispensable tool for the efficient mass production of gasket components.

To minimize material waste and maximize tool life, the CCM 4 features groundbreaking options such as intelligent gap detection. This technology precisely detects the gaps in the metal carrier of steel-reinforced profiles and positions the cut exactly within the gap. This is complemented by a powerful profile clamping system that stabilizes even complex contours during the cutting process, thereby preventing any deformation. The result is repeatability that meets the highest industrial standards.
The CCM 4 is far more than just a cutting machine. It is designed to accommodate an additional punching tool, making it a true all-rounder in your production process. Materials without steel reinforcement can thus be cut and punched in a single operation. Additionally, integration with an automatic quality control system enables the immediate removal of defective areas. Defective material sections are isolated through an automatic scrap cut, ensuring that only good parts proceed to the next stage of the process.
