Wiring, Streamlined

Automated Control Cabinet Wiring

Control cabinet manufacturing involves cutting, stripping, terminating and labeling large numbers of wires to precise specifications. The Metzner Triathlon series automates these processes and integrates production data for seamless workflow management. Finished wires are then delivered in the correct wiring sequence, bundled or via a rail system, ready for efficient assembly.

An Investment That Pays Off

Automated wire processing reduces manual labor and speeds up control cabinet wiring. Depending on the model, the Triathlon series can process up to 450 wires per hour.

For an annual production of 200 control cabinets, each containing approximately 500 wires, the investment can pay for itself in around two years, according to the manufacturer.*

Compact & Flexible

Triathlon S
12-wire capacity · 5 wire rails · 11-second cycle time

The Triathlon S automates wire processing for control cabinet projects, with up to 12 wires available simultaneously. It handles cutting to length, stripping, crimping and labeling, then delivers finished wires in the specified wiring sequence, bundled or via a rail system.

Higher Capacity & Shorter Cycle Times

Triathlon L
36-wire capacity · 15 wire rails · 8-second cycle time
The Triathlon L is designed for control cabinet projects involving a wider variety of wires. It can automatically process up to 36 different wires, delivering finished wires as chain bundles and/or via a rail system, sorted in the exact sequence required for wiring.
