To achieve virtually pressure-free processing, the point of contact between the blade and the material is kept as small as possible. The extremely thin blades (from 0.1 mm) strike the material at an oblique angle.
Both the cutting speed and the belt speed can be adjusted in fine increments.
A blade lubrication system is also available as an option.

Metzner KL-BV specialises in the gentle and distortion-free processing of pressure-sensitive materials. At the heart of the system is a sophisticated blade design: extremely thin blades (from 0.1 mm) strike the material at an oblique angle to minimise the point of contact and thus the mechanical stress as much as possible.
This process is suitable for material diameters of up to
18 mm. Finely adjustable cutting and belt speeds, as well as an optional integrated blade lubrication system, ensure additional flexibility and optimum results when working with demanding materials.
