Consistent Corrugated Tube Processing with Controlled Feeding

Corrugated tubes often need to be cut to defined lengths. However, cutting speed alone is not the deciding factor. Controlled material feeding, accurate cut positioning and repeatable results are equally important. The Metzner CT 4100 and CT 4200 are designed for the automated processing of unslit corrugated tubes with outside diameters ranging from 4.5 to 39 mm. The long belt feed system guides the material precisely to the cutting unit, enabling cuts to be positioned accurately at the corrugation crest or in the corrugation valley. Both machines feature continuously adjustable feed speeds of up to 90 m/min. Short setup times make it easy to switch between different material requirements. The CT 4200 extends these capabilities with an integrated longitudinal slitting module. This allows corrugated tubes to be not only cut to length but also slit longitudinally in a single automated process.

The CT 4100 is designed for precise cut-to-length processing of unslit corrugated tubes. Its controlled belt feed system ensures accurate cut positioning at the corrugation crest or in the corrugation valley.

Cutting and Longitudinal Slitting

The CT 4200 offers the same core functions for precise cutting of unslit corrugated tubes. In addition, it features an integrated longitudinal slitting module for slitting the tube along its length.
