Press automation: Metzner RPA 3-SC powder press unloading automation

The Metzner RPA 3-SC powder press unloading automation automatically removes green parts powder metallurgical steel from a powder press. Interfaces of all common manufacturers are available for this.

On the RPA 3-SC1 model, the integrated SCARA 4-axis robot removes empty sintering plates from a magazine and guides them to the loading station and loads the sintering plate. The machine manages up to 30 cycles of this fully automatic process in just one minute.

The RPA 3-SC2 model automatically conveys the sintering plates, which are manually placed on a belt, to the loading station. After fully automatic loading, the sintering plates are automatically transferred to a belt from which an operator removes them. This significantly reduces the changeover time of the sintering plates.  gfr
